Office chair repair

I’m attempting to identify this chair so that I can order some replacement parts. I’ve had this chair for a long time maybe 15 – 20 years maybe more. I replaced a couple of parts about 10 years ago. The only identifying mark I can find is the tag in the photo below. As you can see the manufacture is Office Master, Inc. I’ve visited their web site and the do have replacement arms. I need help identifying the arms that will fit this chair.

The failing component is the rotary button used for raising and lowering the arm rest shown in the photo below. I think I will need to replace the entire arm rest.

Here is a photo that might help identify the model of the chair.

Happy Thanksgiving to all

I just finished reading a short description of the origin of this Federal Holiday written by historian Heather Cox Richardson. I found it quite interesting and informative.

Weekend Trip To Letts Lake

Thursday I loaded the kayaks, some camping gear and some fishing stuff into the pickup and headed up to Letts Lake to meet up with my brother and try to get a little relief from all the political stuff that seems to be overwhelming me right now.

While We’re Sheltering in Place

As I understand the county and state directives relating to sheltering in place we can walk about on the county road as long as we practice social distancing.  So when it’s not raining I try to walk about an hour every day or so.   I seam to be encountering more people each time I walk, but I manage to keep the county road between us at all times.  Sometimes this requires crossing the road and/or waiting for someone to pass.  I encountered a few more than half a dozen yesterday and we never got closer than across the county road from each other.

I had to go to Walmart to pick up a prescription last Friday.  There are  some crazy people there that either don’t understand or just don’t care.  Next time I think I’ll wear a mask.

Here are some pictures I took on a couple of my walks. Read more ›

6206We will miss you –

  • Your Laugh
  • Your Smile
  • Your Honesty
  • Your Integrity

We are fortunate to have had the time with you that we did.

We will struggle on with you in our hearts.

I can hear your laugh in my head as I look out on our back deck and see in my minds eye all those funny hats everyone was wearing.
